The UMA 17™ is the rescue boat that all public maritime rescue and safety services have been waiting for to carry out speedy and safe wintertime rescue operations.

Based on the ice canoe and designed by a family that has sailed the St. Lawrence for generations, the UMA 17™ rescue craft has been tested in extreme conditions, and is the ice rescue craft approved by Transport Canada. It is made to save lives. This sturdy boat can navigate safely through ice and reefs, and will give years of service. It is light and easy to manoeuvre for speedy and precise navigation. A versatile boat that can navigate on open water and on ice, it can be used year round.
